Visiting Santa

My favorite time of the year...the girls geared up for Christmas with a visit to Santa!

Reese thought Santa was all right...she is sick so it was hard to coax a smile out of her.

This is the first year Baleigh didn't cry when she visited Santa!

Cousin Luke and Aunt Minta went with us to see Santa...Luke wasn't too sure about him either.

I love the holidays...hopefully, I will have time to update a little more often. Have a wonderful Christmas season.

So Long!

Well, it's clearly been quite a while since I last posted. I have been very busy the last month getting our new house ready so we can move. The time has come for us to pack up and leave this tiny place we call home and get into a much larger home. So...I will have posts coming up of the process. For now, I'll just put a few random pictures up to make a silly little effort at updating the blog. Have a great one!

My sweet girl had to get glasses! She doesn't like them, but she actually does really well with keeping them on most of the time. And...she does look super cute in them.

Catching up

My sister-in-law so sweetly reminded me that I haven't updated my blog in quite a while. So...I am updating a random selection of pictures. I so wish that I could get it together and update more, but I'm afraid that just isn't in the cards for me right now!

She's getting so big!! Because of the age difference and size difference (Reese is quite a bit bigger than Baleigh was at the same age) I am scrambling to get some of the outfits on Reese of Baleigh's that were my favorite. These ribbon jeans make the list!!

They are in coordinating outfits for church.

Although Reese HATES tummy time, she is getting really good at holding her head up. Lately, when I put her on her tummy, she just rolls to her back. Then she smiles at me like "Take that!!!" Have a great day!

Fun Valley

Our family recently went to Fun Valley near South Fork Colorado. It is a family rustic "resort" where you can take a tent or travel trailer or you can rent trailers or cabins. Unfortunately, my sister-in-law had to have her gallbladder removed, so they didn't get to come this year.
Jason really enjoyed fishing and relaxing. It is such a great family place to go.

Baleigh and Papaw with her first fish. She really loved that fish...she kept it warm with a wash cloth and took very good care of it!!

This last picture is one of the bear that decided to come visit on our last day. I thought I heard my dad, but I was surprised to find the bear going through our trash. I believe there were quite a few tasty things for him to enjoy...however, there were also a few nasty dirty diapers!!!

Baleigh's 4th Birthday (a week early)

Oh yes, Baleigh had a Disney Princess party this year! We are going to Fun Valley next week so I decided to have her party a week early...she's decided that means she turns 4 a week early too!

This is the least posed picture I could capture of her...she strikes the craziest poses when a camera is pointed her direction!

She tore through those gifts so fast, I'm still not sure who some of them are from...I'll have to make some phone calls to get the thank you's correct!

4th of July and Luke's Birthday

We had a great 4th of July...big holiday time for us with Luke's birthday on the 3rd and Dad's birthday on the 5th in addition to the other festivities.

My Grandma Joycee with Reese. Reese is 5 weeks old today...doesn't seem possible. It has gone so fast! I have a go back to work next week...not too excited about that! Only a month until Baleigh turns 4...where has the time gone? We'll also be heading to Fun Valley in a month...can't wait to go!! Hopefully, I'll get another post on here before I head back to work!

Reese's First Bottle

Since I have to go back to work in 3 weeks, we started working with Reese on taking a bottle yesterday. She didn't have any trouble...sucked it right down!!!
