Sick Baleigh

Unfortunately, Baleigh has been sick for the last couple of days. So...I decided I better take a couple of pictures of poor sick Baleigh.

She is feeling much better today...in fact, she informed me that she no longer needs to take that "Yucky Medicine" because she is all well. Too bad, Baleigh, you have to finish the antibiotic!

I am just posting a few random pictures that I have taken over the last couple of months. Baleigh likes to ride those things in the food court in the mall.

She is quite the little drama queen...never one to just take a normal picture.

She's looking pretty special here...just home from gymnastics!! I just figured I better take all of the quick pictures I could before baby #2 comes along. By the way, we still don't know what to do about a name for the baby. I'm really torn because I truly adore the name Emerson, but I refuse to have a child called Emmy just because people are too lazy or rude to call her Emerson. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to call a kid by it's given name?

Baleigh's New Room

Baleigh loves her new room! We do have to keep the stair lights on because that big dark room scares her a little. She wanted all of her bedding to be princess...which, I was totally against. So...I let her have princess sheets to compromise. She picked the color purple for the walls...I think it looks pretty cute. We put a little flower border down two walls for some oomph!Remember how nice and neat these pictures look because it won't last for long, I'm sure. Right now everything is super organized...I really like it that way!

Baleigh was enjoying some breakfast in this picture at the table Papaw and Mimi made for her. Papaw built it, and Mimi painted it! If you notice the beads hanging by her bed...she wanted a canopy (cantipy, in her language) bed, but it isn't possible in that room. So...we improvised!

Emerson

So...I really like the name Emerson. BUT...I really don't like all the shortened versions. I wouldn't mind someone calling her Em every once in awhile, but I hate Emmy. So, I've added a poll to see what everyone would call her. If I get a lot of Emmy or Emma...I'll nix the name.
Although...my dad did try to get everyone to call Baleigh, Annie since he didn't like her name. I guess I could just be really firm that her name is Emerson. I don't know, we'll see.

Name this Baby

We may be getting a little closer to a name for the baby. We're still working on it, so I'll be updating the site soon with a better idea. Thanks to everyone who is voting!
