Dr. Brackett...first dentist experience

Mariah greatly enjoys taking pictures of anything, but especially of herself. I have files upon files of her pictures...so, I'm including a couple of pictures Mariah and her friend took recently. Tennis season has begun...let's hope we get some good weather. It seems we always end up sitting in cold rain or humid heat (not to mention the wind). Oklahoma is not the ideal state for the sport of tennis.

Today was Baleigh's first trip to the dentist. It went so well. She let them do everything. I was a little surprised...I figured she would do prett
y good, but she acted like she was really enjoying the whole process. I will say, we used a pediatric dentist in Yukon (Dr. Ryan Brackett) and he and his staff were excellent. I don't think we could have asked for anything better. For practical reasons, I didn't take the camera to the appointment, but I snapped a photo of Baleigh with her new toothbrush when we got home.
I am adding a sweet little picture of Baleigh and Jason because they look so darn cute. Since we missed Baleigh's first Blastball game, I'll use a picture from that next week. Have a great day!

Be my Valentine

Mariah is a junior this year, and she is a member of the choir...this means she gets to do Singing Valentines. I loved those. She was on the front page of the Clinton Daily News kissing my parents' neighbor kid. Isn't it so cute? I don't think the vocal program is quite as organized now with Mrs. Clayton gone, so Mariah claims it was a hectic day! BUT, I'm sure she had loads of fun...after all, she was out of class all day!!!

Jason invited Baleigh and I to his annual Valentine's Luncheon. The photographer was working really hard to get a picture of Baleigh. As you can see in the picture, Jason was trying to make her smile. This picture was on the front page the day after Mariah's picture. I was the odd man out...I couldn't find a way to score my pic in the paper the next day! Oh well!!!

Jason...the Amazing

Jason is going to a conference (or class or something) next week...such a bad time, as I should ovulate while he's gone and it will be a fertile time missed.  Oh well...we'll try again in April (skipping March so we don't have another kid with a Christmas birthday)!  I have a Nuclear Medicine conference in March (Little Rock, AR...couldn't they have found somewhere better to hold these things?)  I am adding a picture of Jason with Santa (Bill Wisdom).  Baleigh is scared of Santa so Bill dresses up and comes to our house for her every year.

Mariah...hard to capture

It's a little bit harder to get any pictures of Mariah these days...because she's never here. Between school, work, friends, and life, we don't see her much. However, tennis season and vocal music concert/contest season is coming up, and I will get many more shots of her for the page. I am adding a picture from her birthday for now.

Sunny Sunday

I'm going to start updating this page weekly once I get everything adjusted.  I keep messing with the template and stuff.  I want to add a couple of pictures of the girls.  Both girls and Jason were in the newspaper this week for Valentine's Day.  My scanner is messing up right now, but I will scan those in this week so I can get them on the page.

Pictures

I thought I might need to add a picture of the girls!

Cold, Rainy Saturday

Well, this is the very first post on our blog site!  I don't know how often I'll be able to add, but I'll try to keep the page updated.  We have a funny little family...not too many exciting things happen, but I'll try to liven it up a little bit for the blog.  Jason and I have 2 girls...Mariah, age 17 and Baleigh, age 2.  We're trying for a third, but the fertility thing isn't going as well this time.  I'll try to post more once I get this thing figured out!

Have a great day!
