Dress Shopping...so fun!

Well, Mariah found her prom dress!!! Thank goodness. We didn't even have to work all that hard. She tried on 10 or 15 dresses at Dottie's and decided on one. I don't think I ever managed to find one quite that easily. Baleigh loved shopping for a prom dress...she liked all the big pouffy ones because she thought they were Cinderella dresses. She wanted to wear them all.

Mariah also played in the first tennis tournament of the season last week! She and her partner are playing No. 1 Doubles (quite a feat for them), so they placed seventh. After losing the first match to the No. 1 seed, they played the second team closely. Finally, they won the third match in split sets. They did great, as this is quite a tough tournament!
Baleigh finished up Blastball and I will include the team photo composite. It was quite an interesting season because we didn't know anyone on our team, and the coach quit coming to the games mid-way through due to a family emergency of some kind (that lasted 2 weeks)!

We are looking forward to Spring and some nice weather. Hopefully, this will bring about some outdoor fun...we're tired of always being inside. Maybe things will be a little more exciting for our blog next week!! Have a great day!!
